BRASIF sponsors art works, movies and books created by Brazilian artists as a way to publicize and stimulate Brazilian cultural expressions, Examples of this effort is the support given to feature films including 2 Filhos de Francisco and O Coronel e o Lobisomem, among others.

Due to the high number of participants that have shown interest on fabric handcraft activities, a new workgroup, called Boas Mãos (Good Hands), was created. Women in the group are assisted by an artist, a fashion designer and a professional seamstress.
